Where’s My Refund?

Get your refund status from the IRS.  You can visit the IRS website to track your refund HERE.

You will need:

• Your social security number
• Your filing status
• The exact amount of the refund you are expecting.

All of this information can be found on your 1040 tax return.  If you have any questions about the status of your tax return, you can contact the IRS at 1-800-829-1040

If you need to check the status of your amended return.  You can visit the IRS website HERE.

• Your social security number
• Your date of birth
• Your zip code

Amended returns take 3 weeks to be received and entered into the IRS system.  After that it can take up to 16 weeks to process.  If after 16 weeks, you don’t see progress, you can contact the IRS at 1-800-829-1040
